Who Needs an Egg Donor?

Take the next step, choose egg donation.

As you age, female fertility declines. Around the ages of 33 to 35 years old, your likelihood of livebirth decreases. This is true for all women whether they have had a child before or not.

You are still able to have successful live births; however, this may include using a Donor Egg from a younger woman.  The live birth rate for a woman using Donor Eggs in her forties is like a woman who is in her late twenties.

Same sex couples or single people who want to conceive and need donor eggs and a gestational carrier also require donor eggs as part of fertility treatments.

Dr. John Norian, board certified reproductive endocrinologist from Southern California, talks about Egg Donation.

With the year quickly coming to a close, your wish is still a wish; your dreams are still big and bold. You may not be sure if you want a donor, need a donor, or did not know donor eggs were a possibility. Take this time to reflect, research, and consider going for it.

At EDI, we believe in assisting all our clients and egg donors through every step of the process. We will guide you from the beginning of the matching process and see you through to the egg retrieval.
